…as beautiful, as it looks : )! we loved it and will return for sure! just an hour from the centre of berlin and 5km from potsdam it feels like being on the countryside…beautiful forest just behind the house, schwielowsee&caputher see in 20 minutes walk, just 2 houses away from einsteins summerhouse, friendly neighbourhood and very nice hosts, anja, holger and their lovely kids…sauna on the rooftop and the option to have a cranio sacral, yoga or other treatment by naturopath iris schiek or her husband holger, who live and practice next door. we stayed here in the winter, took wonderful long walks and went ice skating on the many magic lakes around caputh and loved it…we’ll come back many times for sure and eventually maybe move to this beautiful small town one day in the future. highly recommended for a calm and beautiful nature holiday and still close to potsdam and berlin, if you need some city vibe. but einstein said: “come to caputh, forget about the world!” / ” komm’ nach caputh, pfeif’ auf die welt!”
