The landscape of the peninsula Mönchgut on the Island of Rügen is characterised by rolling hills and the Bodden of Greifswald with its numerous bays. The Rüfugium, an ecologically built wooden house, is situated right in the middle of this idyllic Biosphere Reserve. As the upper floor offers the best view of the spectacular water scenery, the open lounge, dining and kitchen area is located on this level. In the airy room with large windows, everyone will find a favourite spot – either with a view to the water or on the garden, which can be reached by an outside staircase via the balcony. The bedrooms, the study and the large bathroom on the ground floor have direct access to the 3,000 sqm garden: A nice place to relax when the weather is fine – and if it is colder, you can warm up in the outdoor sauna.
