Måsens Havsbad (Sea Bath of the Seagulls) on the Swedish west coast is located on a headland of the small fishing and harbour village of Lerkil and is surrounded by water on three sides. Between the gentle cliffs and offshore skerries, you are close to the lapping of the waves, the sound of the wind and the screeching of the seagulls. The cottage used to serve as an accommodation for guests of the former adjacent restaurant, today it is a charming private holiday home in the Scandinavian style: inside lots of white washed wood, outside pure matt black and white corners and edges, the decor simple, but practical and cozy. When the wind blows around the house, you can warm up in front of the Swedish stove or in the small sauna. In summer you can enjoy the view of the wide sea – until well into the bright nights. The house stands on a large cliff property, which reaches to the water and the large public bathing jetty. A kiosk, a simple restaurant and the yacht and fishing harbor are just a few steps away.
