Brückenvilla Bleibe

The Eifel Town Monschau has a picturesque medieval center with half-timbered buildings and slate-clad houses, winding streets and the meandering river Rur. The Brückenvilla (Bridge Villa) is centrally located in the Old Town, yet separated due to its position across the river, and is accessed via a private bridge.

With its large transom windows and slate roof, bay windows and bell canopy, the Brückenvilla almost looks like an enchanted little castle. However, the huge outdoor floor lamp in front of the house indicates that a casual and modern interior is hidden behind the old façade. The wooden staircase with a decorated handrail, the old box doors and lattice windows, the ornate mantel piece and chandeliers have been complemented with modern partners: numerous seating elements to chill out on, a long dining table for social gatherings and simple bedrooms with alcove beds to relax in. White in all its variants dominates the bright rooms The house has room for up to 12 people, and the park-like garden offers each guest their own private corner. The 2000 sqm large, terraced property has several seating areas and a listed Baroque pavilion.
