Casa Vico Fiscaiolo is located in a picturesque street in the historic part of the litttel Italian harbour town Monopoli – near the cathedral and only 100 metres from the sea. The apartment is a typical “Casa a Torre”: based on an small ground floor it extends over three levels. Just beyond the entrance door a steep terrazzo staircase leads up to the first floor with the bedroom. Here you find a striking floor with ornamental tiles, which were preserved during the renovation. On the second floor is the living room (with sleeping facilities) and a bathroom. On the third floor you enter the kitchen with a large roof terrace. If you haven’t run out of breath, take the last staircase to the roof area above the kitchen and you will be rewarded with a view over the rooftops of the old town, the cathedral and the Adriatic.
What to do
Puglia boasts a rich cultural heritage and a history stretching back 3,000 years. Holidaymakers in search of beautiful beaches won’t be disappointed either. The highlight, though, is the vibrant street life to be found in the charming town of Monopoli – and of course the terrace with its gorgeous view over the rooftops. Markets, restaurants, bars and shops are within walking distance.
Why we like this house
Here you live in a quiet place, but have the lively city life on your doorstep and the sea nearby. The tasteful furnishings and the roof terrace are further advantages.
This house is great for
Couples and famillies. Due to the steep stairs the apartment may not be suitable for people with reduced mobility.
