Berlin and surroundings

die kleine Acht

On the outskirts of Lindenhagen in the Uckermark region of north-eastern Brandenburg, Berlin architect Thomas Kröger has converted a 1950s estate house into a fantastic holiday home. The extraordinary transformation of this compact saddle-roofed house with its square contour is evident from the outside: large windows open the building out to the landscape, the roof features two huge dormers, and the façade is divided into several plastered sections.
