Loftsuite & Turmloft am Walensee

The Loft Suite and the Tower Loft are two holiday flats in a historic factory building of an old spinning mill on Lake Walen in eastern Switzerland. The former factory halls and warehouses, where cotton yarn was produced until 1996, have been converted into lofts, studios, commercial spaces and a hotel. Kesslerstadel

Since the 16th century, the Kesslerstadl has stood near the village church in the centre of Matrei in East Tyrol. From the outside, it is hardly noticeable that the former hay barn, a listed building, now houses two modern holiday flats. The BergsteigerSEIN flat, located on the upper floor of the former barn, is accessed via the back of the building, which is nestled against the slope. The terrace leads into the large living room, which is characterised by old beams, bright spruce panelling, straight-lined fixtures made of black multiplex boards and a large window front with a loggia behind it.
