Gutshof Fredenwalde: Frontalansicht mit Wasser

Gutshof Fredenwalde

Gutshof Fredenwalde is located in the Uckermark, about an hour’s drive from Berlin. This heritage-listed estate is comprised of a baroque manor house, several outbuildings and a six-hectare landscaped park. The old farm buildings have been renovated and converted into holiday apartments. The four maisonette apartments in the former granary are characterised by the construction materials of the period, including fieldstone, brick and larch wood.

Gut Üselitz

Porcignano, near the Tuscan village of Radda in Itatly’s Chianti region, was once the private summer house of Leo Lionni (1910 – 1999) and his wife Nora. An artist with many talents – he was a photographer, painter, graphic designer and sculptor – Lionni is famous among parents for his children’s books, including the classic Frederick about a young mouse.
