The Quartier Wieck holiday home is located in the fishing village of Wieck on the Darß peninsula off Germany’s Baltic coast, just 300 metres from the Bodden lagoon. With its sleek architecture, the house sets a counterpoint to the traditional thatched houses typical of the Darß – but with its barn-like shape, it nevertheless references its surroundings. Every detail displays the owners’ penchant for Japanese and Scandinavian design.
