House
Faktorenhaus
The Faktorenhaus is a historic half-timbered house (Umgebindehaus) in the Upper Lusatia region of eastern Germany. This type of half-timbered house reflects the cultural landscape of the border triangle between Germany, Poland, and the Czech Republic. Situated in the village of Ebersbach/Sachs near Görlitz, the heritage-listed building was built in 1831 by a local cloth merchant. Today, this beautifully restored house offers enough space for large families or groups – with a floorspace of 260 square metres – and a very special ambience.
