The Kortscherhof is located on the sunny side of the Alps in the west of South Tyrol. Since the 1970s tourists have been accommodated in the main building, and for a few years now also in the neighbouring dependance. In contrast to the alpine style of the main building, the expansion took on a modern, straight-forward design with lots of glass and wood. Through the use of stone walls that can be seen frequently in the village Kortsch, the building looks modern but not like a foreign body. As straight-lined as the exterior architecture is the interior of the two apartments. Nothing distracts from the view of the mountains with Stelvio National Park and the Ortles Cevendale. On the large balconies you can enjoy the sunshine – of which there is plenty, since the climate is almost Mediterranean in the Vinschgau valley.
What to do
