elisabeth am see
Exclusive hideaway on Lake Templin. The apartment “elisabeth am see” is located in a brick building from the 30s in the Brandenburg fishing village of Caputh. At first glance, the building does not look spectacular. This impression changes, however, once you enter the spacious apartment: a living oasis of 180 square meters equipped with elegant furnishings and modern technology. A glass cube brings a lot of light into the house and at night a sophisticated optical design provides for a pleasant atmosphere. The furnishings, walls and other interior fixtures are kept white, because the rooms also serve as private art gallery. The owners are art lovers and regularly invite artists to exhibit their works in the apartment and in some cases also in the garden.
When looking through the windows into the garden you will see the highlight of the apartment. The wide park-like garden opens onto Lake Templin. So you can listen to the waves sitting on the jetty, relax under the fruit trees or enjoy the view of the lake from the private spa in the basement of the house.

Why we like this house
A perfect place to unwind and leave everyday life behind.
This house is great for
Couples and families. The apartment is well suited for meetings, conferences and seminars and as a film or photo location.
We, Eva Loschky and Jörg Becker, have a wonderful lakeside property not far from Potsdam and Berlin, which has been in the family for over 100 years. When we began planning the conversion of the mezzanine floor - with access to the lake - back in 2008, it quickly became clear that we had to make something very special of this magical place. Because here, on the shore of Lake Templin, you can simply let go, relax, and recharge your batteries in no time at all. So we decided to turn this “bel étage” into an apartment, elegant and exclusive, for all those in search of a retreat to de-stress and unwind. The symbiosis of old and new is Jörg’s specialty, as both an architect and light artist. So we were able to remodel the rooms, create new light axes, and shape the apartment’s design ourselves. We furnished the flat just as we would like to find it on our own travels. And as Albert Einstein once wrote to his son: "Be a lazy animal, stretch out all fours. Come to Caputh and forget about the world - and forget about your old dad too, if you want!" Welcome!
