Surrounded by water Arnis – the smallest city in Germany – is situated on a peninsula in the Schlei. On the Linden-lined Long Street, which runs through the small town from one end to the other, you will find the oldest houses of Arnis. One of them is Fjorde-Arnis, a town house of the late 18th Century with its typical bay windows. The heritage protected building was renovated in 2006 retaining its old substance (e.g. in the entrance area, the historic ceiling painting have been preserved) and supplementing it with modern elements. The house offers 130 sqm of space for up to four people. The ground floor has a large kitchen with a fireplace and a bedroom; a second bedroom and the living room are upstairs. The garden leads down to the water and a private pier. From here you can start a sailing trip with a Cape Cod Cat Boat from 1936.
