The Refugium zu Sanct Kassian is hidden behind walls and tall cypress trees. The former rural property from 1854 was owned by the church for many years. Due to its massive walls, its clear architecture and sober façade it makes for an almost monastic atmosphere. The three apartments were originally designed as private homes, so that each apartment has been furnished individually with a lot of attention to detail.
You live in post-modern, rural or urban style, with modern designer pieces, antiques and selected works of art. Each apartment offers a wonderful view to the south over the mountains, castles and villages. And in the delightful garden (with swimmming pond) you find the scenic diversity of South Tyrol in miniature.
House and garden are connected by a spacious terrace, the Piazza. The Aula, a seminar room for up to 20 people, and a well stocked wine cellar are also part of the property.
