Moormann berge

Add to my favourites

Those who love the mountains accept their conditions. So clear, so good – and such is the maxim of the guesthouse Moormann berge: no wellness luxury, no restaurant, no TV and even mobile phone reception is not exactly impressive. Celebrating the extraordinary, also in architecture.

AUFBERG 1113

Add to my favourites

At an altitude of 1,113 metres above sea level, in the midst of the Hohe Tauern mountains near the village of Piesendorf, this house rises above the everyday. The air is rich with the scent of pine forests. And in its peaceful, unspoilt natural surroundings, this house is simple and yet luxurious.

Refugio Laudegg

Add to my favourites

Modern architecture at the foot of an old castle: with its contemporary design, Refugio Laudegg forms a stunning contrast to its neighbor from the 12th Century. By virtue of its form with several vertically displaced units and the use of local materials, it blends in harmoniously with its surroundings.

Im Spycher

Add to my favourites

This old house dating to 1710 has already experienced some changes. More than 40 years ago the Spycher was brought from Entlebuch to Füringen, where it now sits majestically above Lake Lucerne. In 2010 the building was renovated and opened to the lakeside.

La Melagrana

Add to my favourites

From a distance, it seems like a wooden box is floating on a hill overlooking the archaic Sicilian countryside. La melagrana located near the town of Noto is pitched on concrete beams and offers a view of the sea shimmering in the distance.

Hotel Gracanica

Add to my favourites

The hotel was a project between three friends. For several years they had been looking for an appropriate property situated in the quiet countryside close to Pristina – and with a lovely view. The result is a modern building with many wooden elements.

La Pedevilla

The “Viles” – an ancient Ladin form of settlement in South Tyrol – were the inspiration for the design of the Pedevilla. The two black wooden houses interpret regional architecture in a modern way and offer a fantastic view of the Dolomites.
