La Bandita Townhouse
The village of Pienza in the heart of Tuscany is a UNESCO World Heritage site and widely considered to be the “ideal town” of the Renaissance. Its narrow, winding lanes lead out onto open piazzas, to beautiful churches and stunning Renaissance palaces. Hidden behind historic monastery walls you’ll find the “La Bandita Townhouse. Here the nuns’ quarters have been converted into 12 spacious guest-rooms. With their bare stonewalls, rustic roof beams and round arches, each has a unique historical flair. “Floating” beds and steal-framed furniture in yellows and oranges add a modern, cheerful touch. Upper-level rooms provide breathtaking views of the surrounding hills in the Val D’orcia. The large monastery library is available to all guests, as is the walled garden behind the property.
