La Mugletta is a modern B&B in the Euganean hills of Northern Italy, not far from Padua, Vicenza and Venice. From the outside, this modern building appears simple and restrained, not at all typical for the local style, and it is obvious that nature not only provides a backdrop to its unique architecture, but is also an essential component of the structural concept. The interplay of nature and architecture was integral to the design of the building. Natural materials and high-tech solutions were combined to create an environmentally friendly house, in which interior and exterior merge.
The social heart of the building is the Salotto with a kitchen and large dining area, a bench by the fireplace as well as a spacious front terrace. If you open the panoramic corner windows, the dining area becomes a covered outdoor room. The three guest rooms also feature large windows, offering wide views of the surrounding landscape. Each of the rooms has its own individual flair and the bathrooms boast colorful, striped patterns. In the basement there is a spa area with a steam bath and even a pottery studio. The idyllic garden offers several quiet corners to retreat to and relax. There is a also vegetable garden and fruit trees from which guests can pick their own fruit.

Steam baths, pottery, donkey trekking, walking, hiking, gardening, cycling, relaxing, reading, birdwatching, wine tasting, golfing, excursions to Padua, Vicenza and Venice, visit of the monastery Abbazia di Praglia, castles and historic villas. There are two gourmet restaurants nearby.

We like the simple and elegant architecture, the intimate and personal atmosphere of the house, and its location surrounded by nature but still close to the historical Venetian towns.

La Mugletta is an awakened dream of beauty, nestled in a lush green setting. All-wood construction soothes you. Here, the lines are refined and the comfort of the equipment is one of the most advanced. The bliss of the place is total, …and the details are discovered to your amazement: the view is a painting at each window, creations borrowed from nature, mud,… pottery, wood always.
Here healthy and spontaneous flora and fauna flourish. Everything that lives is respected and magnified.
At this place, the owners guest you with warmth and smile. As soon as we entered La Mugletta, children? They became calmed as liberated; the adults immediately let go.
For our family, 3 generations gathered, the stay at La Mugletta was nothing but laughters, select meals, serenity, walks, games, reading, exceptional degustations of specialities, sharing,… well beyond all our expectations.
The Mugletta has been designed to allow you to finally touch the naked truth of the verb “to live” fully and simply, harmony.

Wer das Ambiente von 4 und 5 Sterne Hotels gewohnt ist kommt bei der Mugletta auf seine Kosten: hier kommt zum gediegenen Ambiente, zum perfekten Service und der architektonischen Schönheit noch der familiäre Touch, die Natur, die Abgeschiedenheit und die Warmherzigkeit der Gastgeber. Ich habe mit meiner Familie eine wunderschöne, ungestörte Woche erlebt, in der wir uns einfach nur verwöhnt haben lassen. DANKE!

Wir hatten eine traumhafte Woche als Familie in diesem herrlichen Haus. Das Familienzimmer mit eigenem Bad und Versteck-Koje für die Kinder lag herrlich mit Blick ins Grüne. Die Lage des Hauses ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für schöne Tagestouren vom Gardasee über Vincenza und Padua bis nach Venedig. Das Haus steht an einem Hang, von der Terrasse hat man einen herrlichen Weitblick in die Po-Ebene und bei klarem Wetter bis zu den Dolomiten. Der Garten ist terrassenartig angelegt, wir haben die vielen Rückzugsmöglichkeiten sehr genossen. Für unseren Sohn stand eine Tischtennisplatte bereit sowie ein Tischkicker, unsere Tochter liebte die Blumenvielfalt, die zwei Esel und das morgendliche Füttern der Hühner. Ein Traum ist die riesige Terrasse, auf der ein zauberhaftes Frühstück serviert wird. Wir haben uns in La Mugletta vom ersten Moment an sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Gastgeber waren zwar während unseres Aufenthalts nicht vor Ort, wir wurden aber mindestens ebenso herzlich und zuvorkommend von Cathrine (einer Freundin des Hauses) umsorgt. Ob kulinarische Tipps oder touristische Insider-Informationen, Cathrine stand uns in jeder Hinsicht von morgens bis abends ganz reizend zur Seite. Wir hatten eine sehr erholsame Woche in La Mugletta und kommen sicher wieder! Lieben Dank für die tolle Zeit, Ulla Mugler.

Das “La Mugletta” ist wahrlich ein Traum. Trotz der ortsuntypischen Bauweise fügt sich das Haus unaufdringlich in die Landschaft ein. Äußeres und Inneres harmonieren perfekt, wodurch wir bei jedem Wetter gemütliche Orte zum Wohlfühlen fanden. Nicht zuletzt haben Frau & Herr Mugler dazu beigetragen, dass wir unsere Zeit dort so sehr genießen konnten. Das köstliche Frühstück am Morgen, die vielen Tipps und netten Gespräche haben uns ein Gefühl des “Zuhauseseins” vermittelt. Dieses B&B lebt nicht nur von seiner beeindruckenden Architektur, sondern gleichermaßen von der Herzlichkeit seiner Besitzer. Wir kommen gerne wieder!
