La Pierre aux Puces

At La Pierre aux Puces you have Lake Geneva at your doorstep. The house is located on a terraced plot on the southern shore of the lake, eight kilometers from the spa town of Evian-les-Bains. Dating back to the 1950s, the building was originally used as a boat garage, but it has since been completely renovated and converted into a holiday home for up to 10 people.

On the ground floor, huge panoramic windows were installed and walls were removed to create a spacious, light-flooded room. The living and dining room with an adjoining kitchen leads out directly onto the terrace, which separates the house from the lake. This level features polished concrete floors, while an equally elegant curved staircase leads up to the first floor. There are five double bedrooms, each with their own bathroom and direct access to the balcony. The lake is omnipresent: in the kitchen, mirrors on the wall ensure that you can enjoy views of the water even whilst cooking.

Swimming, kayaking and paddling (boats are available to guests), hiking in the mountains.

Why we like this house

Fantastic views from every room and from the terraces: here you can sit for hours, listen to the splashing of the water, and marvel at the panorama of the lake and mountains. And if you want to do more than just look at the water, you can take a boat tour from your own private jetty.
