Langenbachhof is an old farmhouse with a mighty roof, nestled into a wooded hillside in the central Black Forest. Both outside and inside this typical Black Forest house from 1813 has been restored to its original beauty. Low ceilings and small wooden windows, painted paneling, rustic beams and antique furniture transport its visitors 200 years back in time. In the smokehouse kitchen you can cook on an open fire, and the parlor and bedchambers are heated by stoves. In addition to this traditional, almost museum-like ambience, the farmhouse also has many modern features: There is a second, contemporary kitchen, the historic beds are equipped with comfortable mattresses, and the eight bedrooms have their own bathrooms with slate floors, Raindance showers and underfloor heating.
