Inspi­ra­tions: #Stairs & steps

Today we take a closer look at houses with special stairs. A stairway can be much more than just a con­nection between two floors. It is also an archi­tec­tural design element. As a striking object it adds a high­light to a room or conveys lightness with ‘hovering’ steps. Some stairs are the centre of the house around which ever­y­thing revolves, while others take on addi­tional func­tions and presents, for example, the private library.
