In an open location opposite the city center of Kappeln, a residence with 11 apartments has been built on the Schleibrücke, the city’s former beachhead. The building dominates the extraordinary landscape, and its shape and choice of materials correspond directly to the natural surroundings. Its structure fans out into a series of two-storey gabled houses with brick facades. Large panoramic windows ensure plenty of light and beautiful views of the city skyline of Kappeln and the Schlei.
The various-sized apartments (from 89 m² to 153 m², two of them barrier-free) all have hardwood floors, fireplaces, underfloor heating and terraces with views over the Schlei. The “Kapitänsblick” (captain’s view) apartment also features a sauna with views of the water.
