Located right at the entrance to the South Tyrolean village of Sand in the Ahrntal, the minimalist Ovina’s Haus blends naturally into its surroundings – surrounded only by green meadows, with the impressive mountain backdrop behind it. With its delicate wooden struts, it looks a little like a hay barn from the outside, yet the building houses eight comfortable and lovingly furnished apartments, mini-lofts and suites, some with private roof terraces and saunas, which open out onto the surrounding balconies with large windows. On the ground floor there is a professionally equipped communal kitchen, which can be used for cooking events on request, and a café with a bar and library. This is where people eat together and spend time together or alone. A Finnish sauna is available to guests in the garden. The whole house can be hired for family celebrations, workshops or events – everyone is guaranteed to find their favourite place here, whether in summer or winter.
