Villa Binnenzee is located in the “flower seaside resort” Noordwijk, on the Dutch North Sea coast. The old barn built in 1902 was formerly a warehouse for flower bulbs. The current owners wanted to preserve the typical local building and converted it into a holiday home – which took them three years. Now you will find spacious rooms with elegant, stylish decor and unusual details on three floors. Downstairs there is a semi-professional kitchen, a long dining table and a living area with a fireplace. An open staircase with galleries leads to the bedrooms on the upper floors. The highlight in the master bedroom is a free-standing, wood-framed bathtub. Outside, you can have a lovely time on the porch, in the sunny garden, or the terrace.
Meanwhile all storage facilities for flower bulbs are listed as historical monuments and the successful restoration of the Villa Binnenzee serves as a model for other projects in the area.
