In a small hamlet near Gordes – one of the most beautiful mountain villages in France – Villa Daesch lies hidden behind a high wall. The silk factory dating to 1629 consists of several buildings and an intimate courtyard. Outside, the building complex has a traditional character, but inside historic stone walls and old beams meld with an eclectic interior design as well as modern comforts. Villa Daesch consists of three vacation rentals: La Maison 1629 sleeps four people and includes – in addition to a private garden area – a terrace with views over the rooftops to the Luberon mountains. Maison 1850 and Le Loft each accommodate two people and can also be rented together. Both apartments have private terraces; Le Loft also has a Jacuzzi.
What to do
Explore Provence: Villa Daesch is only a few minutes drive from L'Isle sur la Sorgue, Fontaine de Vaucluse, Lacoste, Oppède-le-Vieux, Lourmarin, Saignon and Roussillon. Avigon is reached within an hour (½).

In 2006 a dream came true when Edvard and Andrew found their dream home in the Luberon. Since many years they share this former silk farm with guests who enjoy the beauty of the region and the contemporary design of the restyled house. A passion of Edvard who is interior architect.
