In a small hamlet near Gordes – one of the most beautiful mountain villages in France – Villa Daesch lies hidden behind a high wall. The silk factory dating to 1629 consists of several buildings and an intimate courtyard. Outside, the building complex has a traditional character, but inside historic stone walls and old beams meld with an eclectic interior design as well as modern comforts. Villa Daesch consists of two vacation rentals: La Maison sleeps four people and includes – in addition to a private garden area – a terrace with views over the rooftops to the Luberon mountains. The two-person apartment Le Loft at the opposite side of the courtyard features a private sun terrace with a hot tub.
