Lovingly designed rooms in Greek townhouses dating back to the turn of the last century – complete with beautiful panoramic views. This is what awaits you at the Manzara holiday homes of the Turkish harbour town of Ayvalik. One of these houses is Zeytinli Ev, situated in the historic town centre. A stately building with three floors and a garden surrounded by high walls, it offers plenty of space for a holiday with a big family or a group of friends.
From the entrance hall you enter the living and dining area with a fireplace and the spacious kitchen, from which a few steps lead up to the terrace and into the garden.
On the two upper floors, there is a further living room, three double bedrooms, two children’s bedrooms, and modern marble bathrooms. The rooms are furnished in a refined and reduced way. Nothing will distract from substance of this beautiful old building, with ist fair-faced walls, round arches and wood-beam ceilings.
In addition to a large terrace on the second floor, there is a small terrace on the roof with great views of the old town and the sea, all the way to the Greek islands. The garden invites you to linger under the shade of the olive, lemon, orange and pomegranate trees.
What to do
Ayvalik has evolved into a versatile vacation destination with many small shops and restaurants. There are numerous smaller beaches and secluded bays on the Cunda (Alibey) peninsula off the coast of Ayvalik. Sarimsakli is a popular beach south of Ayvalik.
Why we like this house
