Umgeben von Olivenhainen und Weinhängen liegt das Casale di Cellole auf einem der zahlreichen Hügel der Chianti-Region nördlich von Siena. In dem restaurierten Anwesen gibt es fünf individuelle Ferienunterkünfte: zwei zu Ferienhäusern umgebaute Scheunen mit offenen Räumen auf mehreren Ebenen sowie drei Ferienwohnungen im Haupthaus (hier befindet sich zudem die Wohnung der Besitzer). Alle Unterkünfte verbinden historische Bausubstanz mit zeitgemäßem Komfort und rustikales Ambiente mit modernem Design. Offene Räume erstrecken sich über mehrere Ebenen und setzen Gegensätze so stimmig zueinander in Beziehung, dass sie zu einem harmonischen Ganzen verschmelzen, ohne dabei ihre Identität zu verlieren: antike Terrakotta-Fliesen und grober Zementboden mischen sich mit Vintagemöbeln und modernen Designerlampen, heller Sichtstein und dunkler Stahl wechseln sich ab mit weiß getünchten Deckenbalken und bunten Farbakzenten. Die Unterkünfte haben jeweils einen privaten Eingang, wunderschöne Ausblicke in die umgebende Landschaft und einen eigenen Garten oder Sitzplatz im Freien. Für alle Gäste zugänglich ist die zum Pool umgebaute Zisterne im großen Garten.

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Woche im Casale di Cellole. Wir hatten die Unterkunft Africa gemietet, welche etwas abseits der anderen Ferienwohnungen ist. Es war idyllisch, ruhig und wunderschön eingerichtet/ gestaltet. Die abendlichen Sonnenuntergänge konnten wir auf extra Stühlen auf der Wiese genießen und tagsüber auf unseren Liegen entspannen. Es war perfekt.
We spent 12 wonderful days at casale di cellole and we can highly recommend staying there. The grounds are beautifully arranged and kept and it is such a pleasure just to Hang out. You have a fantastic view of the Tuscany hillside and its peaceful and quiet. We spent a week in the Apartment Zoo and 5 days in the Apartment River. Both Apartments are beautiful yet individual in their Decor. Elisa and Alessandro have decorated both Apartments with a lot of attention to Details and wonderful Design Pieces. And we felt right away at Home. Both Apartments have their own area outside where you can „ Zoo“under a Pergola and „River“ in an old barn with a view into the hillside. Casale di cellole is Not far from Siena (about 15 min by car) But also Florence or the Beach are not too far by car. All in all we had a wonderful relaxing Time and we are grateful that Elisa and Alessandro have created such a beautiful Place. So, Elisa and Alessandro: Grazie Grazie. Thank you for being such wonderful hosts.
We are now a week back from our stay in the apartment ‘Zoo’ and we can’t stop talking about it. The estate is beautiful. The apartment was cozy with all the modern needs, and of course a fireplace (perfect for the beginning of the season). Also, Elisa and Alessandro are the best hosts. Warm, friendly and they have the best tips (restaurants, day trips, etc.). Too add Casale di Cellole is perfectly located close to Siena and in a peaceful environment. A big recommendation!
We spent a week in May staying in the remodeled barn called Africa. The building is beautifully remodeled and decorated. For an architect, this is an ideal place to stay. The location is bucolic and very quiet and the gardens are also amazing! This was a good location to explore the Tuscan countryside and take day trips into Sienna. Elisa was a wonderful host and we will definitely be returning as soon as we can.
A wonderful house not far from Siena with a wonderful host: Elisa! Her charming aesthetic and her delicate but very aware approach to our needs and wishes made our stay very special! From the terrace just in front of the main building you have a wonderful view over the surrounding landscape and the old buildings have been delicately restored without losing the traces of the past. The owners have shaped the Casale in a very individual and personal way: Elisa is very much into gardening and indeed: her garden is beautiful! We have never seen so many different colours and species of flowers in a Tuscan garden! There is a little pool and a relaxing atmosphere all around. Elisa and her family love to travel the world and every apartment is dedicated to a special place or theme: River, Moon, Africa, Canopy and Zoo…. all this makes Casale di Cellole become both, an idyllic Tuscan estate (with all the things you wish to see and taste and smell when travelling to Tuscany) and an inspiring, open-minded place.
Last week we have the privilege to spend a week’s holiday in the apartment ‘Zoo’ at Casale di Cellole. The mansion in which the apartment houses is beautifully situated; has a magnificent view over the Tuscan hills and is surrounded by a natural garden with lush flowers and herbs. ‘Zoo’ is quite roomy (especially the bedroom) and easy to keep in pleasant temperature as the mercury rises above the 30 degrees.
This Tuscan home is contemporary and very stylish renovated. The rooms feel very familiar and are decorated with an eye for detail. The interior is beautifully through the use of natural materials (such as concrete, wooden floors and a beautiful wooden staircase). The carefully chosen furniture, lamps, paintings and objects, make that we could continue to stay here for ever! The kitchen has fine china and good equipment (oven, dishwasher, toaster, large refrigerator). You can stay here both good inside in the evening and outside during daytime, everywhere it’s equally beautiful and has a pleasant atmosphere (and wifi access!). A dip in the beautiful and refreshing pool after a few hours hiking is a really delightful. The tranquil setting, but also the proximity to other guests is very pleasant. Hostess Elisa (and her family) are very friendly, relaxed and engaging. The other apartments and houses belonging to Casale Cellole are equally as beautiful and extraordinary. A truly recommended and distinct please to stay!
