In the wide expanse of the Simmental valley, framed by grassy hills, rugged rock faces and the glaciated Wildstrubel, the 100-year-old Lenk Lodge offers spectacular views and individual spaces.
Built in 1921 as a simple farmhouse, later used at times as a holiday residence and at others as a family home, the old farm has been transformed by its current owners into a place of retreat with a variety of apartments. While the dark wooden façade on the outside tells of its former use as a farm, light wood and spacious rooms provide atmospheric clarity on the inside. Surrounded by a large meadow and two sun terraces.
As flexible as the stay in the “adults only” hideaway can be, as unique are the six holiday apartments as well as the double room and the single room. Whether it is a small pergola balcony, a specially designed bathroom, a hanging chair in the kitchen or a tiled stove in the bedroom – each accommodation has its very own character and charm.
The spacious loft apartment under the roof of the annex is also suitable for yoga classes and workshops. The “Mercato”, a buffet with homemade and local products, provides flexible catering, the in-house library stimulates the thirst for knowledge, the small gondola sauna is a silent place to unwind. The unique coaching programme supports the guests of Cortesi’s in their “Being and Becoming”. The Cortesi’s Lenk Lodge in the Bernese Oberland is an ideal starting point for excursions into the varied mountain world and for the path of self-discovery.
What to do
Bathing in crystal-clear mountain lakes or small mountain streams, hikes to impressive waterfalls, alpine pastures and peaks, biking, trail running, numerous trails and slopes for cross-country skiing, skiing and ski tours, discovering the traditions, regional cuisine and, of course, the internal coaching, yoga and meditation offers.

With the purchase and conversion of their farmhouse in the Bernese Oberland, Fabienne and Roman Cortesi have fulfilled several dreams at once. The couple embarked on their own professional development journey and now combine hosting with coaching and consulting in their mountain retreat. And all this in the most beautiful natural setting. With Cortesi's Lenk Lodge, they have created a special retreat for " Being & Becoming", which they would like to share with their guests.
