We had a wonderful holiday in this gorgeous house in a quiet location 4 km from the historical city of Noto. The owners, a publisher and an architect, have gone through great effort to make it a beautiful and serene home where you have complete privacy indoors and outdoors. The rooms are very spacious, with high ceilings and there are several outdoor spaces for different times of the day and year. You seamlessly move from inside to outside and back.

The walls of the house are made of a double shell of concrete made with volcanic ash from Etna, so the concrete is exposed inside and outside, keeping the house naturally cool in summer.

The swimming pool is set back from the house, overlooking the horizon, the sea and the beautiful Capo Passero.

The house is perfectly located for a mix of culture and beach. It is 9km from the beautiful Marianelli beach in a nature reserve. The beach season extends from May to October and beyond. The baroque cities of Ragusa and Modica are 40 minutes away. It is also easy to visit the ancient city of Siracusa on the way from Catania airport.

This refined home is the perfect place to explore this part of Sicily.

The house is truly beautiful, we loved our stay at Mas Oak. All the details have been carefully chosen, creating an enchanting atmosphere. The owners are really nice and welcoming. Our kids loved their dog and horses. We’ll be back for sure !

Last week, we had the pleasure of spending seven days at Auf die Leitn 8 in the beautiful Bramberg. The house exceeded all our expectations—it’s even more stunning than in the pictures! We will definitely be coming back!

Das Rossignol ist ein außerordentlich gelungener Ort, an dem alte Strukturen mit neuer Architektur auf gekonnte Weise miteinander verbunden wurden. Das verdient großes Lob für den Mut und die Geschmackssicherheit der Gastgeber. Hinzu kommt die stilsichere Inneneinrichtung, in der man sich sofort zu Hause fühlt. Wir verdanken den Gastgebern eine gelungene Sylvesterzeit und einen harmonisch Start ins neue Jahr, zumal das bemerkenswerte Restaurant “Traube” nur wenige Schritte entfernt liegt.

As first-time guest staying in The Baker´s Cottage, it seemed almost too good to be true. Everything was as perfect as it seemed online. The cottage was very clean, modern and has everything to feel at home. The kitchen is compact and contains everything one needs. The bed is very comfortable, bathroom and terrace are excellent. Location is incredibly beautiful and just a 20-minute walk or 5-minute drive from the town Monchique. Thanks Herman and Angela for an unforgettable week! I´ll be back 😊! I would highly recommend this wonderful little house.

We hebben een weekend met 11 personen doorgebracht in deze prachtige, idyllische villa. Wat een mooi huis! “Het is hier net een sprookje” zeiden onze kinderen. Alles is aanwezig, het ontbreekt aan niets. Schoon en netjes onderhouden. Er lag sneeuw dus dat was een cadeautje!

We hebben tevens genoten van het geluid van de rivier.. de honden vonden de tuin fijn en de omgeving is prachtig. Kortom… het was genieten!

What a great place to stay! The beautiful appartment on the first floor was very comfortable. All spaces in the house feel warm and welcoming. Host Claudine was very kind and helpful. Luxembourg is a nice town to discover, and also the surroundings like the Mullerthal were really special. We will be back. Highly recommended.

Wir haben ein paar wunderschöne Tage in der Unterkunft verbracht. Die Lage ist ideal – ruhig und perfekt zum Entspannen. Das Haus ist etwas ganz Besonderes, liebevoll bis ins Detail eingerichtet. Es fehlte uns an nichts. Auch unser Hund war glücklich, und konnte an den großen Fenstern im Wintergarten die Tiere beobachten. Da wir die Nähe zu SPO schätzen, kommen wir gerne wieder!

Es war unser erster Urlaub auf Teneriffa, und wir wollen nächstes Jahr wiederkommen, da wir nicht genug Zeit hatten, alle schönen Ecken von Teneriffa zu entdecken.

Wir haben in Hacienda Cuatro Ventanas toll gewohnt und haben den Ausblick auf das Meer und den tropischen Garten sehr genossen. Das gesamte Team, die Tipps zum Wandern und die leckeren Restaurantempfehlungen fanden wir einfach toll. Das grün des Nordens, die Sonne und die frische Atlantikluft haben uns sooo gut getan.

Wir freuen uns schon auf das nächste Mal in dieser tollen Anlage. Hasta pronto!!

road enters a tiny village…a handful of houses on the sides already exhaled their days warm breath and falling asleep. We slowly past the church and we easily find our house. Cut firewood is carefully put together hints on cozy evenings in front of the fire. We enter the building and find ourselves in a wonderful place, we will have plenty of time to enjoy it next whole week, but now it is late and we are heading for a sleep…silence, peace…for 8 hours straight we slept like never before. like on the other planet. Unbelievable combination of peace and quite and forest freshness…afterwards, every night we were waking up early to see stars and to meet sun later as the day started. You can not afford to miss a minute of life in such a place….As sun was slowly rising, mountains in front of the house were opening up all their glory…There was sun all day long creating beautiful atmosphere of warmth, light and shadows in the apartment. Fireplace in the evening and back to magnificent restorative sleep…We truly enjoyed every moment in Thomas place. Sleeping, working, enjoying coffee on the balcony, watching stars at night, cooking: we made fondue, we were baking and preparing dinners almost every day. Everything is impeccable. Don’t think about it, no reason to take soul out of the place by making a list of points out of it. The best living experience we had. Nature is mind-blowing, hikes and food in local places recommended by Thomas…ah, Thomas! Thomas! A dream of a host…person with soul with a place for a soul…

We spent a beautiful Spring week in this stunning house with a unique vibe. Every corner of every room is a delight to discover. Wonderful details from and quality materials from ground floor to top floor. Not to forget to breathtaking views on the valley. The house really blends in with its surroundings and you feel part of nature.

We were a group of 6 collegues who went for a teambuilding in Barcelona. The villa has a perfect location, only 30 minutes by car to the ramblas. San Andreu de Llaveneres is a typical Catalan village with all the amenities you need . It’s a modernestic villa in the real Mies Van der Rohe tradition.

Great environment to hike with exceptional views. 10 min from the beach. We will be back!

This was our second visit and we were fortunate to stay for two weeks at Giacomo’s wonderful house. There was so much to see and do in the area. We explored the baroque villas of Bagheria and Aspra (also the extraordinary anchovy museum), the ancient Greek town of Solunto, of course Palermo and also further afield such as Salemi and the Cretto di Burri at the ruined town of Gibellina. Much time was spent at the house swimming in the wonderful sea. Giacomo was a wonderful host, as ever. We are now dreaming of our third visit!

Allein beim Anblick des schönen, rot erleuchteten Rs das über dem Eingang zu schweben scheint, hüpft einem schon das Herz. Diese wunderbare Atmosphäre, friedlich und aufregend zugleich, entspannt und alle Sinne ansprechend, offen, weit und gleichzeitig überschaubar und gemütlich. Die Bettwäsche, der Badeteich nach der Sauna, das Holzdeck mit dem weiten Ausblick über den frühmorgendlichen Nebel, die Abwesenheit von Plastik, Hängesessel, das schöne alte Holz….. Hier kann man zur Ruhe kommen, sich selber wieder denken hören und die Freiheit fühlen, die einem im Arbeitsalltag und in der Stadt immer wieder abhanden kommt. Ein bisschen wie Fliegen. Schockverliebt in einen Ort, der nicht in Italien liegen muss! Danke!

We had a wonderful week in Villa Boffa and are already planning our next visit. The villa and location is spectacular with view of the mountains, vally and Lake Maggiore, and we could not have wished for better hosts – very friendly and helpful. We look forward to our next visit!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Mugletta, and it was truly an exceptional experience. The attention to detail throughout our visit was remarkable; every aspect of our stay was thoughtfully considered, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

The highlight of our time at Mugletta was undoubtedly the food. Every breakfast was a delightful journey of flavors, showcasing the best local cuisine with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The presentation was beautiful, and it was evident that a great deal of care went into crafting each dish.

Ulla and Eberhard gave excellent local walking routes and restaurant recommendations. Their knowledge and passion for the area were evident, making it easy for us to explore and enjoy the surroundings.

Overall, our stay at Mugletta exceeded our expectations in every way. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a charming getaway, complete with fantastic food and personalized suggestions. Thank you both for a wonderful experience!

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt auf der Ferme de Brouage sehr genossen! Es war sehr ruhig und entspannt. Der Pool tat gut zur Abkühlung! Wir haben sehr viel gemeinsam als Familie gekocht in der wunderschönen Küche der Wohnung. Das frische Gemüse, welches à la discretion aus dem Garten geerntet werden durfte, hat uns immer wieder zu neuen kulinarischen Höchstleistungen animiert. Die Besitzer sind auf dem Hof sehr engagiert und nett. Die Hunde Tofu und Socrates immer für ein Spässchen bereit.

We were very lucky to spend our vacation in this extraordinary place and can only warmly recommend it. The farm is a quiet, lively and authentic place that exudes a special atmosphere of French charm and closeness to nature. The apartments have an exceptionally attractive architectural design.

As soon as you enter, you can sense the peace and serenity that emanate from this place. Particularly impressive is the conscious approach to sustainability, which is evident in many details. Reduction to the essentials and sufficiency are the focus, without lacking anything essential.

Clarity, tranquillity and the use of a few selected natural materials that blend naturally into the existing building and give it new life and its unique character.

What also makes this place special is the connection to nature. The extensive garden and pool offer both relaxation and refreshment and plenty of space to play, linger and relax.

It’s great that you can pick fresh ingredients straight from the bush and harvest tomatoes, cucumbers, herbs and much more for dinner.

There is something special about preparing dinner with delicious, home-grown ingredients – for lovers of good, healthy food, but also for children, who rarely get to enjoy it these days.

Not forgetting the hosts, who impressed us with their attitude and their great network. Antoine and Hanh take their time and have fantastic tips for restaurants, excursion destinations, beaches and cultural events.

We will definitely be back and are already looking forward to seeing you again. Until then, we wish Antoine and his family all the best and thank them for the wonderful time!

Wir verbrachten über Ostern eine tolle Woche mit 3 Generationen im wunderschönen Bergraum. Anders als bei vielen anderen Objekten, ist es hier in echt noch schöner als es auf den Fotos einzufangen ist. Die Lage ist ein Traum, das Wildental liegt direkt zu Füßen und wir konnten mit Kindern und Hund ganz entspannt fußläufig oder auch mit dem Bus verschiedene Ausflüge machen. Aber das große Wow empfängt einen beim Betreten des Bergraums. Durchgängig hochwertige, natürliche Materialien, große Fensterflächen, die die tolle Aussicht einfangen, überall gemütliche Rückzugsecken und eine toll ausgestattete Küche mit allem was man Zuhause auch gerne hat. Unsere Kinder liebten die Schaukel und die Empore mit den Spielzeugkisten, wir lagen gerne auf dem großen Sitzfenster und schmökerte durch die Berg-Bildbände und als nochmal Schneeregen kam, saßen wir gemütlich in der Sauna. Wir haben es uns hier herrlich gut gehen lassen und die Woche verging viel zu schnell.

Vielen Dank für diese wunderschöne Auszeit, wir können den Bergraum von Herzen nur weiterempfehlen.

Was für ein schönes Haus! Die Bilder versprechen nicht mehr als das, was man bekommt. Die Lage ist traumhaft, wir konnten während unseres Urlaubs alles zu Fuß erledigen und hatten trotzdem unsere Ruhe am Hofgarten. Das Haus wurde sehr schön renoviert und restauriert und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Alles war auch ordentlich sauber und alles war da, was wir brauchten.

We spent last weekend in Meisterzimmer 2, with our 2 (young)adult sons.

It was an absolute delight to stay there. Original, full of light, beautiful design and well thought details.

Comfortable bathroom and kitchen were you can cook a proper meal. Because of the height and the incoming light it feels spacey.

It’s also close to the hip hub of Leipzig, and the Muhle restaurant on site is amazing.

We had an amazing time at the Schmidhuber house. We had never travelled to the area and this house is great to explore the area. Very quiet, beautiful design, with all the things you need. We were welcomed by a delicious slice of pie, what more can you ask for! We picked some mint from the garden and got some groceries from the market down the road and we put it to use in the well-equipped kitchen. On top of that there are various restaurant in the villages that are near. You can go both to the busy Munich, but also relax at the Chiemsee. We wish we could have stayed longer!

Nous avons passé un très chouette séjour dans ce magnifique endroit! Très beau gite décoré avec goût et tout confort, dans un environnement exceptionnel. Nous y étions avec nos enfants et avons tous les 4 adoré passer du temps à l’étang principal (paddle, barque, nage). Le bain nordique sous les étoiles nous a beaucoup plu aussi! On reviendra certainement!

We spent a week here in the summer of 2024 and loved it. It was perfect for our party consisting of 5 adults and 3 children. The location is stunning, the house is magnificent with space for everyone and yet also areas we gravitated to around meals etc. The house has been restored to its old glory and lacks nothing. It was an unforgettable week.

We verbleven er net een week met ons gezin. Het is een magische plek om op vakantie te gaan. Het in loft-stijl gerenoveerde vakantiehuis bevindt zich in een oase van rust. In het huis kan je gezellig samen koken in een goed uitgeruste keuken. Zowel binnen als buiten kan je genieten van een prachtig uitzicht.

Op het domein kan men wandelen, zwemmen in de vijver, petanquen,…

Anne en Jean-Luc zijn het ideale gastkoppel.

Wenn ich die Augen zu mache und an Vidovići denke, fallen gleich seine Düfte und Klänge ein – wiederzuentdeckende Geräuschkulisse wie den nächtlichen Sternenhimmel. Salbei, Helichrysum, Mastixbaum, Wacholder und die anderen Essenzen des duftenden Maquis, die neben der hochfahrenden Straße wachsen. Die unter der trockenen Sonne reifenden Feigen, die hunderte Käfer anlocken. Die unermüdlichen Zikaden, die das Vergehen des Tages begleiten. Eine Welt für sich, auf dem Hügel von Vidovići, aus dem man in die Ferne der Adria sich verlieren kann.

Auf dieser Welt wurde eine Architektur gebaut, die das Vorhandene respektiert und interpretiert. Im Haus 9 so wie im Haus 5, aber auch in den Außenbereichen, wurde eine eigene Sprache entwickelt, die sich mit den lokalen Materialien und Traditionen auseinandersetzt. Das Ergebnis ist ein wunderschöner gemütlicher Ort voller Geschichten, wo man sich wie nirgendwo anders erholen kann.

Bis jetzt waren wir immer am Ende Juni dort, aber hoffentlich bald wieder auch in einer anderen Jahreszeit!

In the last week of July we (two families, seven adults) had the wonderful experience of staying at Maremma House. It was as close to perfect as a holiday can get!

The house itself is beautifully designed and everything has been thought of. All furniture compliments the design of the house perfectly. The sofa and beds were extremely comfortable. The bathrooms beautiful and spacious. The kitchen has all that one could want (including a milk frother!) and is nicely installed in the center of the house so that no one is being left out while cooking.

Yes and then there is the pool. It is quite long (16m, so one can actually swim in there) and appropriately deep. There is also a very shallow platform on which even babies could play in the water without the risk of drowning. The water is always fresh, not chlorined (maybe slightly salted) and is regularly cleaned by a professional poolkeeper. Because of the high temperatures (above 33 Celsius every day) we spent half of our holiday in there…

The hosts Andrea and Luca, father and son from Florence, are extremely friendly and provide a host of additional information about the area and suggestions for tours, shops, restaurants etc. etc.

Would I recommend this place? Of course, even more so, I would return there any minute without hesitation! 11 out of 10 stars!

J’ai passé une semaine au mois de juillet 2024 à sept dans la maison et j’ai trouvé le lieu magique. D’abord il a le site, somptueux, et l’accès direct à la mer. Les baignades sont faciles et délicieuses. La maison elle-même est très belle, avec ses lignes épurées, ses circulations originales, ses effets de lumière un peu partout. On vit dans l’univers des grands designers italiens mais pas comme dans un magazine de déco. Tout est en parfait état mais on sent qu’il s’agit d’abord d’une maison de famille, un lieu vivant. Je reviendrai.

We stayed at Lleó 57 in June with our three adult children. It was a perfect choice for our family. The very thoughtful and attractive design of the house meant that we could all be together but also allowed everyone their own space and privacy. Every detail has been carefully executed. It’s very relaxing just to be at the house, enjoying its terraces and the pool. It’s also a great base from which to explore the area. Pollensa is a charming town and it’s easy to walk to shops and restaurants from the house. The surrounding area is beautiful and offers lots of opportunities to be physically active or to enjoy the many beaches. The sea was the perfect temperature for swimming. We have many memories of a delightful week at this lovely house and highly recommend it.

Vielen Dank für die wunderschönen Tage im Boomerang Haus. Wir fühlten uns bei Euch, Caroline & Eddy, sofort wohl und konnten richtig gut abschalten. Es ist ein traumhafter Ort mit herrlichem Blick aufs Meer, leckerem Frühstück und herzlichen Gastgebern 👍😊. Wir kommen auf alle Fälle wieder und sind froh, Euch kennengelernt zu haben.

UN PARAÍSO PARA LOS SENTIDOS

Acudí a la casa con la intención de pasar unos días en un lugar tranquilo donde poder desconectar y recargar pilas. Al llegar me quedé gratamente impresionada con la localización y arquitectura de la casa. Tenía el mar al cruzar la calle y una casa que invitaba al descanso y la relajación. La sensación al estar dentro era de que la casa estaba viva. Todos los elementos estaban muy presentes, la madera que lo envuelve todo como en un abrazo, la circulación del aire que creaba la sensación de que la casa respiraba, los grandes ventanales abiertos al mar, las campanillas de viento que hacían vibrar todo el espacio, la chimenea. Me pareció un lugar mágico. Realmente pierdes la noción del tiempo estando allí.

La casa está perfectamente equipada con todo lo que puedas imaginar, llena de pequeños y grandes detalles que la hacen realmente acogedora y especial. Me dió pena no saber tocar el piano, invitaba a escucharlo. Leer un libro en el salón con esas maravillosas vistas fue una delicia. Ver amanecer sobre el mar mientras descansas en la cama y darte un baño contemplando el ocaso no tienen precio. Me sentí tan a gusto en la casa que apenas quise salir. Me parece un lugar idílico para un retiro, para los amantes de la tranquilidad. Lo único malo: después no quieres marcharte. Volveré seguro. 10 de 10. Gracias por ofrecer un espacio tan cuidado en todos los detalles.

What a beauty. The house offers an inspiring mixture of old and modern. As a party of ten persons, we especially enjoyed the spacious and modern kitchen for our cooking events in the evenings. The house offers enough rooms and outdoor spaces for a big group to spread around in and outside of the house, to relax and enjoy the sourounding.

Das Haus bietet eine tolle Atmosphäre, ist architektonisch sehr anspruchsvoll gestaltet und auch die Komponenten im Haus, ob Küchenausstattung, Möbel oder Bettwäsche, waren von gehobener Qualität. Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit und konnten – wie der Name verspricht – unsere Akkus gut rechargen

Wir haben wundervolle 5 Tage in der Leeuwenstraat verbracht. Das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und die Küche perfekt ausgestattet, um mit einer größeren Gruppe zu kochen und zusammenzusitzen. Dias Wohnzimmer und die Schlafzimmer sind sehr schön designed und die Betten extrem bequem. Kathleen war sehr gut erreichbar und hat uns bei Fragen sofort weitergeholfen. Das Haus liegt mitten im Zentrum von Antwerpen und ist der optimale Ausgangsort, um die Stadt zu Fuß zu erkunden. Wir kommen gerne wieder!!

Wunderbares Haus für Urlaub oder Workation. Bestens ausgestattet, großartig gestaltet (innen und außen), wundervoll gelegen. Wir waren im grauen Februar hier, es war grandios und stimmungsvoll.
