La Tannura is a small estate between the towns of Noto and Avolo in the hilly hinterland of the southeastern coast of Sicily. The old farmhouse dating to 1800 comprises three holiday homes: the Grande apartment for 4 to 6 people, and the Picola and Nido apartments for 2 people each. The apartments are accessed via a shared courtyard. The open architecture with sleeping lofts and modern furnishings are a delightful counterpoint to the traditional flair of the old stone walls and wooden ceilings. Each apartment has a terrace overlooking the Mediterranean garden complete with olive trees, almond trees and flowering jasmine.
