How do I make a booking with HOLIDAYARCHITECTURE?

What’s most important: HOLIDAYARCHITECTURE is neither a booking platform nor a travel agency. You always book directly with the host!

HOLIDAYARCHITECTURE brings owners of holiday homes and guests tog­ether. Our website func­tions as a gallery where we showcase beau­tiful, exciting and exem­plary accom­mo­da­tions for you. 

In the respective entries of the holiday resi­dences, you will find a description of the house and a link to the respective website. This link will provide you with further infor­mation about the holiday home, for example about prices and booking. Some houses also have a direct link to their booking page. If the accom­mo­dation does not have a website, you will find an enquiry form, which you can use to contact the host directly.

How do I find my dream accom­mo­dation?

Our portal presents more than 500 holiday homes. With the help of the map and the search function, you can search spe­ci­fi­cally for the accom­mo­dation that is of interest to you. You will find the map and the search function (symbol: magni­fying glass) in the menu at the top of our web pages.

Search by map:

Navigate to the region of your choice on the map. By cli­cking on the house symbol, the sui­table object will be dis­played. The link “Go to object” will take you directly to the entry of the accom­mo­dation.

Search by search function:

Using our search function, you can search for key­words and avai­la­bi­lities, indi­vi­dually or com­bined. You can further narrow down the search results by entering a date (“Avai­la­bi­lities” button) or by sel­ecting per­sonal cri­teria (“Filter” button).

How do I find accom­mo­dation that is available at a par­ti­cular time?

You can use the avai­la­bility query to search for accom­mo­dation that is available for a certain period. All holiday homes for which we receive occu­pancy data are taken into account here.

You will find the avai­la­bility query via the search function (symbol: magni­fying glass in the right corner of the menu bar). Here you can enter the period for which you are looking for accom­mo­dation. If you click on “fle­xible”, the search period will be extended by a few days so that not only the sel­ected arrival and departure days are con­sidered.

Accom­mo­da­tions for which we do not know avai­la­bility data for the requested period are marked with the note “on request”. In addition to the period, you can filter by other cri­teria, such as the number of people and the country.

Where can I find prices for the accom­mo­dation?

You will not find any price infor­mation on HOLIDAYARCHITECTURE. You can obtain this infor­mation on the website of the accom­mo­dation (the link is pro­vided in the entry of the holiday home) or on request from the host (contact form in the entry), if the holiday home does not have its own website.

How can I create a list of my favourite houses?

If you click on “Add Bookmark” (flag symbol) in the left menu column of a holiday home’s entry, this holiday home will be added to your list of favou­rites. You can access the list via the menu bar at the top (flag symbol).

Note: Book­marked favou­rites are saved locally as a “cookie” in your browser. They are only available in the respective browser. The favou­rites function is only intended for short-term book­marking. If the local data of your browser is deleted, the book­marked favou­rites are also lost.

You can buy our books via our online shop. The books are also available through book­shops (brick-and-mortar or online) and Amazon.

Can I buy vou­chers?

We do not offer any vou­chers for our platform, but many of the accom­mo­da­tions we present do. Please contact the respective holiday resi­dence directly.
