Today we take a closer look at houses with special stairs. A stairway can be much more than just a connection between two floors. It is also an architectural design element. As a striking object it adds a highlight to a room or conveys lightness with ‘hovering’ steps. Some stairs are the centre of the house around which everything revolves, while others take on additional functions and presents, for example, the private library.
