The houses in today’s newsletter illustrate the potential that lies dormant in ruins and dilapidated buildings. With great courage and commitment, their new owners have reconstructed the buildings and transformed them into gems. In some buildings—like the hotel in a disused brewery—the former functions are still recognisable. Nevertheless, the accommodations have clearly arrived in the present: they are time travellers that fascinate with their contrast between old and new.
