Dünenhaus_01

This holiday home in St. Peter-Ording situated by the dunes of the Wadden Sea on the Eiderstedt peninsula blends in perfectly with its surroundings: The colours of the beach can be found in the stone façade, in the slate-gray wooden window frames, in the sand coloured tiles, and the white-washed oak floorboards. To the southwest, the fully glazed rear of the 120 sqm house looks out onto the dunes. The idea behind the design is as simple as sophisticated: The emphais is on visual axes and the play with light. The open skies and dramatic sweep of the northern German landscape are reflected in its airy, light-filled interior design and modern, minimalist furnishings. The spacious living room with open gallery has a ceiling height of seven meters above the dining area. The house has three bedrooms. The bedroom under the pointed gable has a fully glazed front and evokes associations with a tent in the countryside.

What to do

Beach distance 800 m. Swimming, water sports (kitesurfing, windsurfing, catamaran, stand up paddling), horse riding, golf, hiking, cycling.

Why we like this house

The house fits wonderfully into its surroundings. It is restrained and consistent, cool but not cold.

This house is great for

Couples and families. Great for all who love the North Sea.
