Overlooking the Schlei, the fjord house is located between the towns of Kappeln and Arnis in the north-east of Schleswig Holstein. The wooden house is in shape and material inspired by the dock buildings and barns of the surrounding area. Simple, but with refined details! The building is divided into two different width halves, the saddle roof is slightly asymmetrical and the waterfront of the smaller halve runs slightly oblique. Also the protuding door and window reveals create interesting accents.
According to the two halves the house is divided into two apartments for four and six persons each. Since the house was built in an elevated position for reasons of flood protection, you have a nice view even from the ground floor. The terraces are located in front of the entrances and the entrance door is also the terrasse door. You enter each apartment through the eat-in Kitchen. In addition, on the ground floor there is also a bedroom and bathroom. On the upper floor you find the living room with a view of the water, one or two other bedrooms and a bathroom. The interior is made up of self-designed furniture that is simple and functional to match the architecture.
What to do
Kappeln is 3km, Arnis 4 km and the nearest east beach 8 km away. Walks and bike rides in the nature reserve "Geltinger Birk" and the "Nature Park Schlei". Water sports
