Be brave — if you book now, you’ll be on holiday sooner.
Even though the travelling public is still holding back due to the ongoing lockdown: We advise guests to become active now — because as soon as it is possible to offer accommodation again, there will be a veritable rush for high-quality holiday homes, just like in 2020. As a result, the only response will very soon be: “Sorry, fully booked!”
So here are our recommendations:
Break away from customary thinking!
It is highly recommended to search off the well-known “beaten tracks”. Those who keep focusing only on the much frequented, always the same destinations will have to be prepared for an extremely tedious (or even unsuccessful) search.
Our tip — and this is by no means a booby prize! — rethink and act flexibly. Accommodation in regions “below radar level”, in other words beyond the mainstream, often offers exciting attractions. In addition, the surrounding regions are very often full of unexpected discoveries that, moreover, will not be completely overcrowded.
The search and successful booking of quality accommodation is happening now!
All guests who are still watching and waiting must brace themselves for the fact that the search for suitable accommodation will soon be as nerve-wracking as it was last year. Or they will have to live with the fact that their 2021 holiday will by no means be possible on the desired date or at the desired destination.
Guests should always take enough time to search for and book their accommodation — despite the due hurry. Our partner accommodations are not operated by anonymous consortia or investors; accordingly, our hosts are directly available to you for booking enquiries or individual arrangements. Those who look closely at what is on offer and seek direct communication are definitely at an advantage.
What you need is luck!
Even a negative response does not have to be the end of all your dreams. If you are flexible in terms of time: Find out if there is a waiting list. Many of our hosts were fully booked for months last year, but they also received cancellations at short notice because guests could not or were not allowed to travel.
