In the grounds of a former manor house, architect Jan Žaloudek found a building site with a wonderful panoramic view over the South Bohemian hills. There, he built a compact house which, on the outside, pays homage to rural tradition, whilst the interior has a sacred feel.
Ansgar Steinhausen has profiled the holiday home in the issue 3/2026 of German magazine Häuser. His article is also available online (German Version).
