At the Palazzo Morosini degli Spezieri you can live close to the beautiful sights of Venice but far from the tourist crowds. The Grand Canal and the Rialto Bridge are both within walking distance. This magnificent 15th-century townhouse has its own boat mooring and – rather unusually for the lagoon city – a small secluded garden.
The Palazzo, which was completely renovated over the course of four years, now houses nine modern apartments between 40 and 130 sqm in size. Their names and colour accents bear witness to the historic palazzo’s past as a spice store. High, beamed ceilings and terrazzo or wooden floors create a splendid setting for the part modern, part classical décor in subdued colours. Quality Venetian wallpapers and fabrics ensure that a stay in the palazzo’s light and airy rooms is also a tactile experience. Broad windows provide picturesque views of the old city palaces and the canal. Some of the apartments also feature balconies from which you can enjoy these views in the open air.

There is a meeting room for business meetings, and some apartments can also be used for gatherings or events. The garden with its outdoor kitchen and view onto the canal is a fantastic venue for receptions, dinners, cocktail parties etc.

Wir waren für 2 Nächte im Appartement „Aneto“ untergebracht.
Die Lage des Palazzo ist einfach genial, direkt am Canal San Polo gelegen aber trotzdem absolut ruhig und idyllisch!
Das Appartement ist sehr geschmackvoll und luxuriös eingerichtet, es gibt eine Küche und ein großes Schlafzimmer mit Bad. Die Regendusche ist großartig!
Im Gang, der die beiden Räume verbindet befindet sich der Eingang, vor dem ein privater Sitzbereich angeordnet ist.
Mein absolutes Highlight war jedoch der Garten, der sich direkt am Kanal befindet und von dem aus man die Gondeln vorbei ziehen sieht. Sensationell!
Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und möchten den Gastgebern für den wunderbaren Service rund um die An- und Abreise danken!
Wir werden sicher wieder kommen.
Venedig ist ein Traum!
Wir haben anlässlich unserer Hochzeitsreise fünf Tage das Apartment „Ginepro“ gebucht, das sich perfekt für zwei Personen eignet (insgesamt gibt es 9 in versch. Größen). Der Palazzo ist komplett modernisiert, mit modernster Technik, und wunderschön modern eingerichtet. Trotzdem wurde der „alte Charme“ erhalten und mit besonderen Designerstücken komplettiert.
Besonders schön ist der Ausblick vom Balkon und den großen Fenstern Richtung Kanal und auf einen kleinen Platz vor dem Palazzo. Es war immer sehr ruhig, trotzdem ist man Mitten in Venedig und kann alles zu Fuß erreichen. Zwei Supermärkte gibt es 5 min entfernt.
In der sehr gut ausgestatteten Küche fehlte es uns an nichts (Toaster, Wasserkocher, Nespresso-Kaffeemaschine, Induktionskochfeld, Backofen, Geschirrspülmaschine, Waschmaschine, uvm.) Sogar ein paar Tabs für die Spülmaschine und Nespresso-Kapseln waren bei Anreise verfügbar (noch ein paar zusätzliche Espresso Tassen wären perfekt). Handtücher waren ausreichend vorhanden und sogar Hausschuhe, ein Fön und jede Menge Stauraum gibt es.
Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und bemüht alle Wünsche zu erfüllen. Check-in und Check-Out waren unkompliziert und perfekt organisiert. Wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Für das schwere Gepäck gibt es sogar einen Aufzug im Gebäude. Den Garten haben wir nicht genutzt, dieser ist aber sehr schön angelegt inkl. Eigener Anlegestelle für das Wassertaxi.
Beim nächsten Mal würden wir die Wassertaxi Option direkt vom Flughafen wählen. Mit den Koffern von der Vaporetto Station San Stae zu laufen ist möglich, aber etwas mühsam.
Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt und können das Apartment nur weiterempfehlen, für alle, die sich gerne im Herzen von Venedig und doch etwas abseits der Massen, wie ein „Einheimischer“ fühlen möchten. Inklusive der Architektur, Moderne und des Flairs eines venezianischen Palazzos.
