Bed & Breakfast in an old train station: Once the legendary Pullman trains steamed along the Belgium village of Moere on their route between Ostend and Paris. Today no train runs here anymore, now the track is a walking and bicycle path – and the old station houses two exclusive guest rooms. They reflect the elegance and luxury of the golden 1920s in a contemporary way. Modern design combined with classic furniture icons, muted colors and natural materials create an atmosphere of harmony. Even the view outside the window contributes to this feeling of peace, looking out at the green garden with its old trees and into the meadows beyond.
What to do
A great place for trips to the cities of Bruges or Ghent. Nearby there is a small and beautiful spa. The area is perfect for jogging and cycling (The "Groene 62" bicycle path )! The region offers a variety of gourmet restaurants.
Why we like this house
A gem. Pure tranquility! Irma’s delicious breakfast and her attentive but unobstrusive hospitality!
Irma and Jos discovered the old station in 2000 and knew straight away: we want to live here! Ten years later they opened this idyllic property as a B&B, whose guests have enjoyed Irma's wonderful hospitality and their host’s love of design and architecture ever since.
