Studio Zempow

Studio Zempow

The studio – a small wooden house – is located in Zempow, a Brandenburg village near the Mecklenburg Lake District. It actually only consists of a single, but very spacious room. However, thanks to a flexible room concept, it is so adaptable that it can easily be adapted to suit different needs at different times of the day and night.

In addition to a well-equipped kitchen with dining area and a living area with pellet stove, there are two sleeping areas in the open space that can be separated by sliding doors. From here, there is a view of the wild garden through a four square meter window. The gallery, which is accessible via a staircase and separated from the living area below by a net, offers further sleeping options with a view of the starry sky – a lovely retreat (not only) for children.

Materials such as wood, hemp and clay dominate throughout the house. Inside, the floors, walls and ceilings are clad in wood – even the stairs and the kitchen fittings are made of wood. A large window area opens onto the terrace and the surrounding garden. The interior is simple and sophisticated.

The house as a whole can be rented as a photo studio or for photo shoots. The studio is also ideal for seminars or workshops – or for a workation in a relaxed environment. There are several lakes in the immediate vicinity that are ideal for swimming, and there is plenty of space in the large garden for playing, barbecuing or simply relaxing.

What to do

The lakes in the area are ideal for swimming, and there is an organic farm with horse riding facilities in the village. You can explore the area and go on tours on rented electric fat bikes.

Why we like this house

The open room concept, the natural materials and the simple design create a relaxed environment.

This house is great for

The studio is suitable for anyone who likes a natural ambience and peace and quiet. The rooms can also be used as a photo studio or hired for shoots, seminars or workshops.
