Those who want to combine alpine adventure with modern minimalism will find a suitably sloping roof over their heads in the Tiroler Tris + 1 in Maurach am Achensee. In order to comply with building regulations and yet find a contemporary interpretation, the classic gable design was given an abstract look and was reconfigured using three stacked structures. The result: complex as well as unusual living spaces in a split-level structure, some of which reach up to five metres in room height.
Both holiday apartments, the Urban Mountain Chalet and the Urban Alpine Penthouse, look out over the emerald green, at times deep blue Achensee, also known as the Fjord of the Alps. Depending on the apartment, the view of the surrounding mountains has also been made to match.
Angles, room heights and perspectives make the interiors themselves an alpine-like experience; make sure you pause for a while in front of the panoramic windows.
The “Mountain Chalet” apartment is suitable for six guests, who will find plenty of space in three bedrooms. For cosy culinary evenings, the state-of-the-art kitchen welcomes you. In addition to the spacious living room with its panoramic window and fireplace, there is another living area on the gallery. The apartment has a pool with a counter-current system.
The “Alpine Penthouse” apartment offers space for four people with two bedrooms, including a spacious kitchen with a long dining table as well as an open living room with a fireplace and also the finest views.

Swimming in the lake (the Achensee Atoll is within walking distance), stand-up paddling, sailing, wind and kite surfing, hiking, mountain biking, climbing, paragliding, winter hiking, skiing on the slopes of the surrounding ski areas (Rofan, Christlum, Zillertal), cross-country skiing (right outside the front door), ski tours, tobogganing, curling or ice-skating, relaxing in your own wellness area or in the surrounding thermal spas, a ride on the nostalgic steam cogwheel railway and, of course, enjoying culinary highlights.

Nachdem wir schon oft über URLAUBSARCHITEKTUR traumhaft schöne Unterkünfte gefunden haben, sind wir diesmal auf diese ganz besondere Perle am Achensee gestoßen. 2 Wochen mit 2 kleinen Kindern und auch das schlechte Wetter konnte keine Langeweile aufkommen lassen. Der beheizte Whirlpool auf dem Dach ist allzeit bereit. Die Sauna schnell aufgeheizt und auch am Ofen wurde nicht gespart. Traumhaft. Wir hatten noch nie eine so gut ausgestattete Ferienwohnung. Die Vermieter haben sich unglaublich toll gekümmert und es hat uns an nichts gemangelt. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, der See, ein großes Schwimmbad alles fussläufig erreichbar. Wir kommen sehr sehr gerne bald wieder.

Während unseres einwöchigen Urlaubsaufenthalts im Penthouse hätten wir dieses tolle Apartment am liebsten gar nicht verlassen. Architektur, Design, Ausstattung einfach alles ist perfekt, die Sauna ist großartig. Die Abstimmung mit und die Unterstützung durch den superfreundlichen Vermieter war wunderbar unkompliziert.
Dass wir wiederkommen werden, versteht sich von selbst.
