Can you still remember the first time you stood in awe in front of the nativity scene as a child and the entire Christmas story played out in front of your inner eye as if under a burning glass in the smallest of spaces?
Even with the awareness of an adult, this still works quite well with a little concentration and in a peaceful, festive atmosphere. Is it perhaps because the nativity scene – like an architect’s model – helps us to bring the story to life?
