Can you still remember the first time you stood in awe in front of the nativity scene as a child and the entire Christmas story played out in front of your inner eye as if under a burning glass in the smallest of spaces?

Even with the awareness of an adult, this still works quite well with a little concentration and in a peaceful, festive atmosphere. Is it perhaps because the nativity scene – like an architect’s model – helps us to bring the story to life?

In contrast to the Christmas story, which focuses not only on the miracle of the birth of the Saviour, but also on the hardship of the search for shelter, we have real luxury problems today. You can see here how comfortably we can now find accommodation in former stables or barns.

Remise Possenhofen

The small village of Possenhofen lies directly on Lake Starnberg. A rural idyll with a heavenly swimming beach and a majestic history. After all, Empress Sisi spent her childhood here. The Remise Possenhofen also dates from this time: it was built in 1890 as the coach house of the adjacent Villa Fischer.
