The workshop of an old carpentry in the town of Hohenberg in Germany’s Fichtel Mountains has been converted into a holiday loft for up to four people. A well thought out interior design concept with built-in components and a harmonious color scheme makes ingenious use of the available space and creates a generous, homely ambience. The room is divided into different zones: the living area with a corner sofa, the dining area with a corner bench, and the kitchen with a cooking island and built-in seating niches. The double bed is positioned as a cozy alcove in the room. Children can sleep in a bunk bed built into a niche. You can expect a particularly cosy atmosphere here when you settle down in front of the loft’s wood-burning stove.
A sauna with a roof terrace lounge and views of the countryside and a play born for children are available to both the guests of the Werkstatt and residents of the neighboring holiday house Alte Schreinerei.
What to do
A sauna, a play barn for children, skiing, hiking, biking, the region’s porcelain culture and swimming.
Why we like this house
Child-friendly accommodation with a cool interior design.
This house is great for
Couples and families. When the loft is rented in combination with the neighboring cottage, it is great for two or more families travelling together.
