The workshop of an old carpentry in the town of Hohenberg in Germany’s Fichtel Mountains has been converted into a holiday loft for up to four people. A well thought out interior design concept with built-in components and a harmonious color scheme makes ingenious use of the available space and creates a generous, homely ambience. The room is divided into different zones: the living area with a corner sofa, the dining area with a corner bench, and the kitchen with a cooking island and built-in seating niches. The double bed is positioned as a cozy alcove in the room. Children can sleep in a bunk bed built into a niche. You can expect a particularly cosy atmosphere here when you settle down in front of the loft’s wood-burning stove.
A sauna with a roof terrace lounge and views of the countryside and a play born for children are available to both the guests of the Werkstatt and residents of the neighboring holiday house Alte Schreinerei.

Es war wirklich ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt. Wir konnten uns sehr entspannen und die Ruhe genießen. Die Ausstattung ist der Oberknaller und wir haben uns ab dem ersten Moment sehr heimisch gefühlt.
Auch die Betreuung vor Ort war unkompliziert und immer sehr nett. Danke dafür. :-) Zum absoluten Highlight zählt die Sauna mit Dachterrasse.
Wir kommen sicher wieder!
Wir haben sowohl schon im Ferienhaus der Alten Schreinerei als auch in der Werkstatt übernachtet und waren absolut begeistert! So eine liebevolle und hochwertige Gestaltung bis ins kleinste Detail findet man selten. Ganz zu schweigen von der Ausstattung, alle Utensilien in der Küche sind von hoher Qualität und es fehlt an nichts. Die Kinder waren begeistert von der Spielscheune und dem Platz vor dem Haus. Auch die Betreuung vor Ort war unkompliziert und sehr nett.
Man kann in der Alten Schreinerei wirklich entspannen und einmal richtig vom Alltag erholen. Die wunderschöne Natur lässt sich im Sommer als auch im Herbst und Winter genießen. Die Krönung ist die hauseigene Sauna mit Panoramablick und Dachterrasse!
Auf jeden Fall werden wir wieder kommen!
Das fünfte Mal sind wir mittlerweile über Urlaubsarchitektur inspiriert verreist und wieder war die Wohnung ein Volltreffer. Individuell, harmonisch und hochwertig ist die Werkstatt ausgestattet. Alles ist durchdacht und aufeinander abgestimmt.
Mit den vielen zur Verfügung gestellten Spielsachen fand es unsere 6 jährige Tochter nie langweilig. Die Sauna mit Terrasse ist ein Traum. Vor allem die Ruhe war für uns großartig. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.
