The former fisherman’s house – a listed building from 1800 – is located in the historic part of Travemünde close to the harbour. The brick house, with its curved pediment, has been lovingly restored by the current owners. A side wing added in the 1950s was pulled down in the process and the original appearance largely restored. On the ground floor there are still small ceiling and wall painting fragments from the late 19th Century. The framework structure is visible inside and creates a rustic ambiance. The two bedrooms on the upper floor can accommodate up to four people.
The larch-clad garden house, which can only be rented in addition to the main house, has additional space for two persons. The 40 sqm sized building features a bedroom, a living room with pantry kitchen and a bathroom. Large windows extend the apparent living space into the garden. The sauna, which is also located in the garden, is designed in the same style as the garden house.

Explore the area’s wide sandy beaches and the nature reserve nearby, as well as the city of Lübeck with its World Heritage listed Old Town just 20 kilometers away. The Lübeck-Travemünde Golf Club is 3 kilometres away.

Wir können das Altstadthaus in Travemünde nur empfehlen. Die Sanierung ist hervorragend gelungen. Insbesondere das sichtbare Fachwerk und die schönen Türen haben es uns angetan. Die Sauna und die wirklich hervorragenden Matratzen haben die Entspannung perfekt gemacht. Die gute Lage mit Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in unmittelbarer Nähe und kurzen Wegen zur Promenade ist ebenfalls ein Plus. Die Tage, die wir hier verbringen durften gingen viel zu schnell vorbei. Vielen Dank für diese schöne Unterkunft.
