Surrounded by orchards the Obermoarhof is located on the outskirts of the village Tschirland in South Tyrol. Two apartments have been integrated into the listed farm from the 15th century. Each 60 sq m apartment is connected to the adjacent outbuilding (where the bathrooms are situated). The new larch wood facade matches the historic building perfectly. The apartments exude historic flair with traditional ceiling beams in the ground floor apartment, vaulted ceilings upstairs, white plastered walls in the living areas, exposed stone walls between the old and new buildings, and ancient murals on the facade. Steel features used as reveals and stairs create exciting contrasts, and clearly differentiate the new from the old.
