Gutshof Fredenwalde is located in the Uckermark, about an hour’s drive from Berlin. This heritage-listed estate is comprised of a baroque manor house, several outbuildings and a six-hectare landscaped park. The old farm buildings have been renovated and converted into holiday apartments. The four maisonette apartments in the former granary are characterised by the construction materials of the period, including fieldstone, brick and larch wood. The raw feel of the reinforced concrete construction, the wooden ceilings, the open beams in the bedrooms on the top floor and the timber boxes in which the bathrooms are located emphasise the stable-like character of the building. Curved oak staircases with steel railings, modern linear built-in fireplaces and antique furniture create a refined counterpoint to the rustic ambience. The apartments each feature two terraces: one facing east towards the estate park, the other facing west towards the inner courtyard of the ensemble.
In the coach house there are two further holiday apartments as well as an event room and a sauna. A heatable outdoor pool was built between the walls of a former stable building. The spacious park with two ponds, a playground and seating areas invites you out to stroll, play and relax. The grounds also feature a tennis court.
