The hotel Gracanica was a project between three friends. For several years they had been looking for an appropriate property situated in the quiet countryside close to Pristina – and with a lovely view. They found a suitable location only 500 meters from the centre of the village Gracanica with its UNESCO World Heritage-listed monastery. The hotel building combines modern architecture with traditional elements. Outside as well as inside the combination of white areas, wood and local garments creates a bright and contemplative atmosphere. In its construction and interior design emphasis was placed on the use of environmentally friendly and durable materials.
What to do
The monastery of Gracanica (UNSECO World Heritage Site) and the excavation site Ulpiana are within walking distance. Mountain bike rental at the hotel. The hotel is ideally located for exploring Kosovo (all major cities are within 1.5 hours).
