Apartment Kokon

Embedded in the village setting of Leu­tasch, with a view of the sur­rounding forests and mountain scenery of the Tyrolean plateau, the four apart­ments of KOKON invite you to retreat into nature. 

The solid wood building con­sists of four equally sized apart­ments, some of which are arranged one above the other, others stag­gered. Each of the holiday units is sui­table for three people, but they can also be com­bined floor by floor through a con­necting door. This way, there is room for either six or even twelve people to travel tog­ether.

From the outside, the buil­ding’s res­trained shape and black wooden façade set it apart from the tra­di­tional houses of the region without losing its roots. In addition to the warm, parlour-like rooms and a few pieces of antique farm­house fur­niture, the playful pattern on the façade is remi­niscent of rural wood­car­vings. If you look closely, you will dis­cover dancing but­ter­flies that — depending on the season and time of day — bathe the rooms in very special plays of light and shadow. In addition, the large windows opening onto the south-facing ter­races and bal­conies flood the apart­ments with day­light. In com­bi­nation with the cladding of light-coloured unt­reated wood and a fine feeling for har­mo­nious colour con­trasts, this creates a plea­santly positive atmo­sphere for rela­xation and dis­covery.

For even more retreat, a room-within-a-room solution pro­vides a cosy sleeping chamber and a bathroom. Even here, the but­terfly-like façade creates dreamlike lighting moods. In con­trast to the calming atmo­sphere in the bedroom, the colourfully speckled bathroom inspires the senses and gets you in the mood for the day. The extension of the built-in unit leads to a large daybed; opposite, in a rather small space, a large kit­chenette opens up.

Hiking and cycling tours - through forests and meadows up to the peaks with their numerous huts and alpine pastures, mountain biking in the trail park, swimming in the lakes, forest bathing, skiing, ski tours, cross-country skiing, tobogganing, ice skating and snowshoe hikes, a visit to the Leutascher Geisterklamm, archery, climbing, tennis, squash, fishing, horse riding, golfing, wellness, regional cuisine, a varied cultural programme and traditional events.
