The Kultur Gut Hasselburg is a listed late-baroque country estate near the Neustadter Bay in Schleswig Holstein. The ensemble of manor house, outbuildings, barns, and a gatehouse impresses with its size and architectural unity. The estate has been extensively renovated in recent years. In the stately gatehouse from 1763, and in the former cowhouse of the estate, 16 holiday apartments and 11 guest rooms have been built. The cow house, which has been completely gutted and rebuilt down to the outer walls, offers its guests not only spacious accommodation but also a fireplace room.
The apartments vary in terms of size and layout but are designed in a consistent style. Historic features such as old doors, beams, wall cabinets and panelling give each apartment its individual touch; modern furniture in a simple, straightforward design create a timeless ambience. The rooms are named after composers, conductors, and musical instruments. Hasselburg is known as a cultural estate and for its concerts in the thatched barn, in the mansion´s baroque hall and in the Kreuzsaal. The latter is the showpiece of the cow house: barely recognisable from the outside, the historic brick façade conceals a hall in the shape of a cross vault as well as two adjoining rooms.
The Kultur Gut is surrounded by extensive meadows, an orchard and moats and offers its guests plenty of space to relax. The terraces of the holiday apartments, which face the outside of the grounds, allow privacy and space for children to run around.

Owner
Creating a place for music – that was what Constantin Stahlberg had in mind when he bought the Kultur Gut Hasselburg a little head over heels in 2010. The graduate of economics, musician, composer and founder of the Stahlberg Foundation, which promotes youth and cultural projects, gradually developed the "most beautiful place in Eastern Holstein" into a place for holidaymakers, musicians and concertgoers.
