NZZ: From 1280 to the present day

Archi­tecture enthu­siasts with a pen­chant for fine dining should take a closer look at Hotel 1280 Die Krone in Geis­lingen, north of Lake Con­s­tance.

The cen­turies-old building complex com­bines his­to­rical flair with dis­creetly staged, modern archi­tec­tural ele­ments. And it offers – both in the hotel itself and in the imme­diate vicinity – two upscale restau­rants that are worth the trip alone. This is also the opinion of the Neue Zürcher Zeitung, which recently made its way there and reported in detail in its hotel tips section.
