Rural areas are increasingly gaining attention as a center of life. They are places to live, live and work. They require a contemporary, ecological, social and structural infrastructure.
With this “requirement profile” and a view open and turned towards rural areas, the German Museum of Architecture (DAM) has selected 70 remarkable examples of architecture in Europe (focus: Germany, Austria, France and Switzerland) and presents them in a traveling exhibition.
Shown are technological developments and the combination of the traditional and the contemporary. Great space is given to the conversion and renovation of buildings.
The exhibition will be on display at the Hessenpark open-air museum in Neu Anspach (Taunus) until November 27, 2022. It will then travel to numerous other locations.
